Our 2nd Annual Surf Fest Fundraiser
Party on August 14 was another very fun, successful event!
A great crowd of 250+ came to El
Rio and enjoyed outside grooves from the Aquamarines,
Pollo del Mar, and DJ Loca Lavado. Guests also checked out
the new O'Neill all-girl surf film, "A Girl's Surf
Addiction." Our BBQ featured Niman
Ranch's tasty hot dogs ("Fearless Franks")
and kept people fueled for the afternoon's dancing and general,
all-around good time.
Congratulations to our many raffle winners who won surfboards,
wetsuits and prizes galore from Wise
Surfboards, Aqua
Surf Shop, O'Neill,
Mooloolaba,
Sports
Basement, Patagonia,
Glissade
Snowboards and our many other sponsors.
The lucky surfboard winners were Kim McGee of San Francisco,
who took home the 7'6 Aqua Hybrid and Leigh Miller of Mountain
View, who won the 9'0 Mystic longboard.
Thanks to all who attended and supported us, as we raised
enough money to produce our upcoming NorCal Women's Surf
Fest on 9/11 at Linda Mar Beach, Pacifica. Get entry
