| Who are we? |
The NorCal Women's Surf Club is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to celebrating women's surfing in Northern California. We support a community of over 650 women surfers who include short boarders and long boarders, experts and beginners.
We have two main goals. First, to support the growing local interest in surfing among women. Second, to give back to our surf community via raising money for our local Surfrider Foundation chapters, SurfAID and beach restoration projects. |

| What
do we do? |
Mostly, we surf! We also support each other in the water, encourage each other to improve our surfing skills and learn wave selection, tide conditions and more.
We regularly host a range of events - from our annual NorCal Women's Surf Fest to Sunday Surf Sessions, camping trips , movie nights, ding repair clinics and more.
These events unite local women surfers who share common interests in surfing, fitness, health and environmental awareness. Newcomers to the sport get to meet other people in the community, ask questions, and have fun. Experienced surfers connect with others at their level and support women who are developing their skills. Men are welcome to participate in many of our events.
